In the freeze of 2018 the temps would get above freezing everyday. This freeze coming up looks like we will freeze on Thursday around midnight, maybe get up to 34 for an hour or two on Saturday, then drop back below to the 20's until Christmas day when we might get up to around 40.  That with 10 Mph winds with gust up to 30 might make this freeze more damaging to plumbing that the 2018 freeze.

I regret to say that due to the volume of calls I expect (that freeze in 2018 caused me to have 694 phone calls during that week) I will only be taking calls on a first come first serve basis with previous customers.

Here is a good link on how to help prepare:

Good luck and be safe! And Merry Christmas Too!

During the last big freeze in Baton Rouge (The first week of 2018) the temperature dropped into the 20's. During that week I had 694 phone calls. I work by myself and I was only able to help about 30 of those people that week. Next week the temperature will drop to even colder than that. It even looks like we may get even colder than the last record breaking freeze of 1989. Please do what you can to help protect yourself. Here is a good article from the Red Cross that covers the basics.
